About the event
It can be hard being the parent of a child with additional needs, and even harder whilst you're on a never ending waiting list for support and answers.
There's a lot to manage, a lot of forms, a lot of behaviours to understand, a lot of worry, sometimes... it just feels a lot.
It can help to have others around you who are going through similar, to know you are not on your own, to know that there is help and support out there.
Each month we'll be getting together and meeting up for coffee, for a chat, and we'll be bringing in guest speakers to support you in supporting your child too.
This month we'll be hearing from Hannah, an expert in childhood trauma and adverse childhood experiences, there'll be plenty of opportunities for asking the questions you need answering and for gaining the tools and techniques on supporting…
