About the event
It can be hard being the parent of a child with additional needs.
There's a lot to manage, a lot of forms, a lot of behaviours to understand, a lot of worry, sometimes... it just feels a lot.
It can help to have others around you who are going through similar, to know you are not on your own, to know that there is help and support out there.
Each month we'll be getting together and meeting up for coffee, for a chat, and we'll be bringing in guest speakers to support you in supporting your child too.
This month the incredible Sarah Gustaffson, founder of AU-RTISTIC will be with us to help us understand what it's like to be an adult diagnosed with both ASD and ADHD, what has life looked like for her, what's worked, and what's not, how can we better understand our children as a result…
