Every Parent Needs Baby First Aid Training: What You’ll Learn & How It Saves Lives
No parent wants to imagine a medical emergency, but when every second counts, having the right education and training can make all the difference. At Beautiful New Beginnings, this is a priority of ours - From sessions in our Antenatal Course focused on the topic, to specialised Baby First Aid Course, we provide hands-on, realistic practice so you can respond calmly and effectively if the unexpected happens.
The Importance of Infant First Aid
According to the British Red Cross, over 50,000 babies are admitted to UK hospitals each year due to accidental injury. Many of these incidents: choking, burns, or allergic reactions -require immediate action. By learning infant first aid techniques, you drastically improve your child’s chances of a full recovery and reduce long-term complications.
For example: When three-year-old Mia suddenly choked on a grape at a family picnic, her mum’s quick back slaps and chest thrusts, learned in her course, cleared the airway before paramedics arrived.
